    Alan García fue premiado en New York por el Council of Americas (COA), una organización de banqueros de Wall Street y de empresarios neoconservadores de EE.UU. quienes promueven el imperialismo estadounidense en Latino América. Un grupo de peruanos y estadounidenses protestaron contra los crímenes del asesino y corrupto presidente peruano Alan García.
